I’m just so stupid it hurts, frankly.
So, I got home very early tonight - around midnight - and then watched some HIMYM and fell asleep in the middle of my 3rd episode of the night. I then decided to call it a night. I went upstairs, changed, made my bed, researched campaign things, tried on my skates finally (they’re too big), and then tried to go to sleep. Except the right half of my face is solid palpable mucus. So, I went downstairs and tried very unsuccessfully to steam up my sinuses to drain my face and hopefully go to bed. But, I realized during this that I parked behind my brother and he very much hates being blocked in (rightly so) because he’s often the first out in the morning. Knowing my brother I walked out to his car, opened it (it’s never locked), got inside, found a pair of keys on the seat (really. he’s asking to get car jacked), and as soon as I picked them up the alarm went off. And instead of like thinking or uh not being a total jack ass I dropped the keys, got out, and closed the door. This did not deactivate the alarm. Needless to say 3 and half minutes later my brother turned it off, my mother was frantically screaming, and my sister was saying ‘Are we all still alive? Has the world ended? Calm down.’ My brother actually wasn’t mad at all he just thought I was being a little stupid and was baffled as to why the alarm went off - that makes two of us. My mother was being crazy and screaming but if she ever brings this up I’ll remind her that she woke ME up this morning via screaming over her shampoo being missing from her shower. In summation: nothing good EVER happens after 2. Just go to sleep.
